Summary – Providing Geological Intelligence
CAR Geoscience provision of geological intelligence is a 21st Century solution to sustainably and inclusively develop undeveloped natural resource assets in the Central African Republic.
CAR Geoscience provision of geological intelligence has already facilitated the Central African Republic National Mining Corporation taking 12 mining licenses.
4-year plan is in place to complete initial survey of entire country.
Geological Intelligence strategy means Natural resources will be mapped to recognised international standards enabling the resulting surveyed reserves to be included on the country’s balance sheet in accordance with international IFRS accounting standards.
CAR Geoscience has entered into a 25 year agreement which will see the continued use of geological intelligence to develop the countries natural resources, which includes the annual production of a report on the mapped resources and reserves of the Central African Republic.
For comparison , South Africa has approximately twice the land mass of CAR and currently has reserves of $7.53 trillion and produces $159.9 billion of minerals per annum.
The agreement is valid for 25 years with automatic extensions for 5-year periods whilst mines developed still have mine life.

Rich Natural Wealth - Low Actual Wealth
By using CAR Geoscience’s geological intelligence the Central African Republic has the opportunity to exploit its rich natural resource base which includes many of the metals which will be essential to the 21st Century – CAR Geoscience’s geological intelligence will map this rich natural resource base in order that it is sustainably and fairly developed.
The Central African Republic has many other natural assets including a vast expanse of under exploited agricultural land.
In addition, its natural assets give the Central African Republic the opportunity to become a major tourist destination with natural attractions which include large areas of rainforest rich in wildlife, especially lowland gorillas and elephants.
The parent company of CAR Geoscience is Central African Republic Development Partners Limited. It is a public private partneship between the Government and a consortium of international partners that will assist the country to sustainably develop its vast natural wealth with the stated objective of making the Central African Republic one of the fastest growing economies in Africa and dramatically improving the standard of living of the country’s people.
